1974 Mgb Gt For Sale

Mgb's were produced from 1962 to 1980. The Mgb Convertible is the best selling British ragtop. Nearly 390,000 Mgb Roadsters were made and about three-quarters of them were sold to the United States. The Mgb Gt was produced from 1966 to 1980. To accomodate for the fixed roof, the Mgb's windshield was raked back and made taller. The steel top stiffened the chassis on these vehicles. With the aerodynamics of these cars they handled better and had a slightly higher top speed compared to the Mgb Roadster.  In 2019, Road and track named the MGB GT one of the "16 of Pininfarina's Most Beautiful Designs That Aren't Ferraris."

1974 Mgb Gt. This Mgb Gt comes with a 1800 cc engine and a four speed manual overdrive gearbox. The overdrive transmission was optional for these vehicles and it does work. This vehicle does run and drive. Currently this car is registered till April 2022. Front brakes on this vehicle are disc and the rear brakes are drums. This is the last year of the chrome bumpers. The previous owner installed some new parts on this car including a new exhaust system. Has the original wheels as well as the spare. 

The interior of this car is complete and in good condition. Both manual windows roll up and down. Comes with an aftermarket radio. All of the glass is there and in good condition. Dash is in great shape with no cracks. All of the original gauges are there and are in working order. Steering wheel is a Mountney Gt Britain. As far as we know this has been in California its whole life. Solid car. Clean California title.
