1970 Volkswagen Beetle For Sale

The Volkswagen Beetle is one of the oldest nameplates in automotive history that is still being produced today. In the United States, these cars were called the Bug. The Bug was sold from 1950 to 1979. In 1998 sales resumed for these vehicles in the United States. History of the VW Beetle stretches back to 1934. The first batch of these vehicles came out of the factory in 1938. In World War II the Volkswagen factory was bombed by Allies. After 1979 these cars were built and sold in Mexico and Brazil.

1970 Volkswagen Beetle Deluxe Sedan. This car has just come out of one family ownership since new. As far as we know this vehicle has its original engine and transaxle. The car does run and go into all the gears but will require brakes before being driven. Has four wheel drum brakes. Has all the original rims and has all four hubcaps. Has been repainted once. Factory Diamond Blue Bug. Comes with the original owners manual, maintenance book and original sales invoice from Germany. This vehicle is complete. 

The interior is all complete and original to the car. Has the original gauge cluster and from what we can tell the car has just over 100,000 miles. All the glass to the vehicle is there and in good condition. From what we have seen, the car is solid with only one area where there is a little bit of rust. All chrome is there with the vehicle. Comes with a clean California title.
