1972 Jensen Interceptor For Sale
The Jensen Interceptor is a hand built vehicle that was produced in West Bromwich, England. These vehicles were made from 1966 to 1976. The body was designed by Carozzeria Touring of Italy. The Interceptor used Chrysler V8 engines. From 1966 to 1970 they used the 383 cubic inch V8; in 1971 Jensen decided to use the 440 cubic inch V8 other than the 383 cubic inch V8. In 1971 the Jensen Interceptor Mark III was introduced. These vehicles had a revised front grille, headlamp finishers, revised seats and GKN alloy wheels. In 1975 Jensen had hit hard times and the production of the Interceptor was ended in 1976.
1972 Jensen Interceptor. This vehicle has just come out of long term ownership. The engine in the vehicle is a 440 Chrysler engine and comes with an automatic transmission. As far as we know the engine and transmission are original to the vehicle. The engine does turn over but is not currently running. Comes with power brakes, power steering and air conditioning. Has all four Jensen wheels.
The interior of the vehicle is fairly complete but will require a restoration. Has the original front and rear bucket seats. Dashboard of this car is all original and in good shape. Has all the original gauges. Steering wheel is also the original one to the vehicle. All the glass is there and in good shape other than the windshield; which has a crack. Some parts and pieces are included with the sale. The original jack is included with the sale. As seen in the photos this vehicle does have some rust present. Comes with a clean California title.
