1986 Mercedes 560SEC For Sale
The Mercedes-Benz W126 is the company's internal designation for its second generation S-Class. These vehicles were produced in sedan/saloon from 1979-1991 and the coupe was produced from 1981 to 1990. The two door was marketed as the SEC in September 1981. The 12 year production resulted in 818,063 sedans/saloons and 74,060 coupes were built. The second series was introduced in September of 1985. For the first time customers outside the United States and Canada could choose the model of vehicle with or without catalysators. The engines were bored out to a 5.5 liter from the 5.0 liter. The 5.0 was carried over. The W126 5.5 liter V8 put out 296 horsepower.
1986 Mercedes 560SEC. This Mercedes has just come out of long term ownership. As far as we know the engine and transmission are original to the vehicle. This car does run and drive. Has just over 101,000 miles on the odometer. Currently the odometer does not work so we cannot guarantee exact mileage. Has power steering, power brakes and air conditioning. Four wheel disc brakes. Comes with Mercedes Centra wheels. The chrome on the vehicle is in good condition. This vehicle doesn't have any rust. As far as we know it has always been a California car and has been garage kept. We have just installed a new coolant expansion tank and changed the antifreeze.
The interior of the vehicle is complete and in very good condition. All the electric windows do work. All of the gauges are working and has great oil pressure. The glass is in good shape with no cracks or chips. Currently has an aftermarket stereo that will need repairing or replacing. Has a great color combination. Does come with a factory jack and a Mercedes Lorinser spare wheel. This vehicle does come with a California salvage title and is currently on non op.
