1967 MGB Convertible For Sale
The MGB is a two door sports car manufactured from 1962 to 1980. These vehicles were announced on September 19th, 1962. Variants include the MGB GT Coupe from 1965 to 1980, the six cylinder sports car and MGB GT coupe from 1967 to 1969, and the eight cylinder MGB GT V8 from 1973 to 1976. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined to a total of 523,836. On these vehicles wind up windows were standard and a comfortable drivers compartment offered plenty of legroom. The MGB's 0-60 was able to be done just over 11 seconds. The three bearing B series engine was replaced in October 1964 to a five bearing crankshaft.
1967 MGB Convertible. This MGB has had the 1800cc engine replaced with a V6. The transmission has also been changed from a manual four speed to an automatic. We did get the engine to start off of pouring some gas into the carburetor. Comes with disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. The soft top frame is not present with the vehicle. Comes equipped with wire wheels and also comes with a wire wheel spare.
The majority of the interior is complete but will require restoring. Comes with MGB seats. This is the last year of the metal dash MGB. Two of the gauges have been changed and the other two are the original ones. The steering wheel has been changed to an aftermarket wheel. The windshield does have a couple of chips in it. The remainder of the glass is in good condition. This vehicle is solid with very little rust. Comes with a clean California title and is currently on a non op.
