1970 TVR Vixen For Sale

The TVR Vixen is a hand built sports car that was produced from 1967 to 1973. These vehicles were made in Blackpool, England. Ford engines were in most of the TVR Vixens. The Vixen succeeded the MGB powered TVR Grantura. Bodies of these cars were made of fiberglass and underneath the car was fitted with a tubular chassis. The chassis used a double wishbone suspension on the front and rear. Brakes on these cars had disc in the front and drums in the rear. The Vixen was significantly lighter than other competitors, such as the MGB GT. The Vixen had class leading performance and fuel economy. There were a few different series over the years. The Vixen body was used on the high performance TVR Tuscan.

1970 TVR Vixen. This vehicle has just come out of ownership for many years. The engine in this TVR is the 1600 cc Ford engine. It comes with dual dellorto carburetors, upgraded exhaust and electric fuel pump. The car does run and drive. Comes with power brakes, with disc in the front and drums in the rear. Has the factory wheels with the original spare. Tires on the car are Yokohama and look to have very little wear on them. We have just recently done some work to this vehicle. It has a new generator, we tuned the carburetors, replaced the clutch hydraulic line and also removed and went through the gearbox.

The interior of the vehicle is complete and in good condition. All the gauges on the vehicle are in working order. Has the original bucket seats. The dash is completely original and hasn't been cut up. Comes with a moto lita steering wheel. All the glass on the vehicle is in good condition. The rear window is plexiglass. Both wind up windows are in working order. The owners manual is included with the sale, spare tire cover and a good amount of receipts. California car and comes with a clean title.
