1960 Jaguar MkII For Sale

The Jaguar Mk II was produced from late 1959 to 1967. The Mark II was a fast and capable saloon car with an advertising slogan of Grace, Space and Pace. These cars came with three different size engines, the 2.4 liter with 120 horsepower, the 3.4 liter with 210 horsepower and the 3.8 with 220 horsepower. The 3.8 liter engine is very similar to the engine used in the E-Type. Front suspension geometry was altered to raise the roll center and the rear track was widened. Four wheel disc brakes were a standard feature. Power steering, overdrive or automatic transmissions were an option. All of the 3.8 Mark II's were fitted with a limited slip differential. Jaguar made some changes from the predecessor Mark I to the Mark II. The Jaguar Mark II was redesigned above the waistline, with greatly improved cabin glass. Slender front pillars made it so a wider windshield could be installed and the rear window wrapped around the rear of these vehicles.

This vehicle comes with its matching numbers 3.8 liter engine with a manual transmission and overdrive. Currently the engine in this vehicle isn't able to be turned over. Comes with factory wire wheels and has the original spare. Has power steering and has a Artic-Kar air conditioning unit installed in the vehicle. Has four wheel disc brakes. Has manual windows.

The interior of the vehicle is complete but will require a restoration. The original gauges are all present and the dash has not been cut up. All of the vehicles glass is there and in good condition. Has the original steering wheel. Overall the car is fairly solid with only a few rust spots. The underside of the car is solid. This vehicle is mostly complete. The tool box and jack are included with the sale as well as some other parts. Comes with a clean California title. Would make a great restoration project.
