These 1947 Chevy's outsold their competitor which was Ford. The styles and lines on this car are very nice and were very good looking cars when new and still today. 1947 Chevy's had a different grill than the year before. Powerplant in these cars were a straight six 216 motor. These are iconic Amercian Classics that can be left original or made into a Hot Rod.
This 1947 Chevy Stylemaster Coupe has been out in the California desert for many years. Previous owner had owned the vehicle for many years with the intention of restoring it. As far as we know the engine is the original 216 with a manual transmission. The engine doesn't run and would need a rebuild or you could do a chevy v8 swap. Completely original. Clean California title in hand.
All the glass is in decent shape. No cracks or chips. Interior is all complete but needs to be redone. The vehicle doesn't have much rust. Body has some damage on the back passenger side corner. Included in the sale is another rear fender. The car also has the hard to find exterior sun visor. Has both black and yellow plates and the vehicle hasn't been on the road since the 70's. The underside of the car is solid and the frame is straight with no damage.
